Attending or throwing a Hen Party? A hen party can be lots of fun with the girls. Unfortunately there are lots of ways to easily ruin a hen party. Most who attend a hen party would rather have fun. But if you’re looking to ruin your hen party, here are a few tips for guaranteed success!

Make unreasonable demands on your guests. This is probably the top way to ruin your hen party. Make your hen party a long distance from everyone – so they have to travel 18 hours to get there. Or make it in a super pricy city so everyone has to shell out lots of spending money to enjoy fun things. Go ahead and be unreasonable, it is after all, your hen party!

Don’t introduce guests to each other. Often hen parties include some friends that know each other from different parts of your life. Whether they are school friends, work friends or friends from yoga class – they socialize easily together. But they don’t know your other friends and spending a weekend with new people can feel a bit challenging. If you really and truly want to ruin your Hen Party, you won’t bother to introduce anyone or help them get to know each other at all. Let them spend the entire weekend feeling awkward around each other.

Remember that this weekend is entirely about you – the bride! Of course the hen party is about the bride. But if you really want to ruin your hen party, you’ll let everyone know right from the get go that your hen party is all about you – and only you. That at this party you’ll be doing only what you want to do, eating the type of foods that only you like, listening to your favorite music and getting up or going to bed at the times that you prefer the most.

Spend time mooning over your fiancé. There’s no greater way to completely ruin your Hen Party than to spend hours talking about how wonderful your fiancé is. Especially in front of a room full of single girls still looking for their mates. Want to give it a delicious twist? Try talking about how awful he is, all of his little icky habits like flossing his teeth at dinner and the things that make you feel sick. However you do this, it’s guaranteed to ruin your hen party.

Complain, complain, complain. This is one of the very best ways to ruin your hen party. At a hen party there may be things you wish were different. You’d rather have different food or music or something. But the bride who complains about everything is going to ruin her hen party at lightning speed. Just start complaining about one thing and let it lead to another lovely topic you can complain about.

The best thing about ruining your hen party? It means there are so fewer girls who will be willing to attend your baby shower in a couple of years. While there will be less gifts, this does mean a lot less party planning!
